FTTP (Full Fibre)
Runs fibre optic cable directly into your home. That means consistent speeds whether it's 6pm on a weekday or 3am on a Sunday. No copper bottleneck. Speeds from 100 Mbps to 3 Gbps, with uploads that match your downloads.
FTTC (Part-Fibre)
Runs fibre to the green cabinet on your street, then uses old copper phone lines for the last stretch to your home. That copper section slows everything down. Maximum speeds cap at around 80 Mbps, and uploads crawl at 20 Mbps. The further you are from the cabinet, the worse it gets.
