How fast is Hey!Broadband?
Hey!Broadband only offers two packages at the moment. Both are FTTP full-fibre connections which makes them all about speed. The first package is 100mbps Superfast featuring 100Mbps download speed, 20Mbps upload speed. The medium speed package is Megafast 400Mbps with upload speeds of 200Mbps. Their other package is Gigafast 1000mbps- which boasts symmetrical download and upload speeds. With these being their only options, this makes them an ideal choice for heavy internet users who either have many devices on their Local Area Network or use broadband connections for professional reasons- such as working from home. If you are not a heavy internet user- someone who uses the internet just for scrolling, surfing or checking emails, Hey!Broadband may not be the provider for you.
How much does Hey!Broadband cost?
When considering the cost of full-fibre broadband it is important to understand that full-fibre is the next generation of broadband connection. Megafast on the other hand is a good option if you live specifically in the areas Hey!Broadband operates in, but looking comparatively to other providers, for £33 you would be looking for an extra 50mbps although 250mbps in itself is enough to comfortably cover a whole home.
Both packages have the option for a phone line to be added for another £9.50.
